ORF Vienna Covers Harry Potter Exhibition's European Premiere Opening

ORF Vienna, Austria's leading public broadcaster, covers the European premiere of Harry Potter: The Exhibition opening at the METAStadt in Vienna. The article highlights how visitors can now interactively immerse themselves in the magical world—entering the Ministry of Magic telephone booth, jumping from Newt's suitcase, activating the Portkey, or conjuring a Patronus.

Tom Zaller, producer of the exhibition by Imagine Exhibitions, emphasized the importance of authenticity: "We spent a lot of time working with the people in the archive department of Warner Brothers. The show is divided into the different houses and time periods—and we carefully selected the corresponding items. When Hagrid's hut is set up here, for example, his umbrella must not be missing. And it's the original prop. Authenticity is important to us."

The exhibition features 20 years of Harry Potter films through original props, costumes, and interactive installations where visitors can brew potions, pull screaming Mandrakes from pots, and defend against dark arts. Following its world premiere in Philadelphia that attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors, Vienna marks the exhibition's first European stop.
