Junior Attorney

We are seeking an In-House Junior Attorney to join our legal team, supporting the Legal & Business Affairs department, managing complex legal agreements and ensuring business compliance for a global themed entertainment and attractions company. This role will be responsible for contract drafting, review, negotiation, and execution across domestic and international exhibitions, while supporting corporate legal functions including entity formation, insurance matters, and general corporate compliance.
Responsibilities:
Contract Management & Execution
Draft, review, edit, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including MSAs, contractor agreements, licensing deals, venue agreements, ticketing partnerships, construction contracts, and entertainment service agreements and more
Manage the contract lifecycle from initial drafting through execution, renewal, and compliance tracking
Serve as a point of contact for contract-related matters, coordinating with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives as well as external stakeholders as needed
Analyze existing contracts for consistency, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement
International & Cross-Border Transactions
Support international exhibition agreements and cross-border transactions
Assist with compliance matters related to international operations, including GDPR, CCPA, other data privacy regulations, and data privacy agreements
Review contracts for compliance with foreign laws and regulations as needed
Coordinate with international partners and counsel on jurisdictional matters
Corporate Legal Support
Liaise with insurance company for full alignment and coverage on insurance for all contracts, including but not limited to general liability, professional liability, cyber, workers' compensation, and any other insurance types required under contract terms.
Assist with insurance compliance, including coordinate on liability and insurance claims in accordance with applicable policy terms and insurance regulations
Support employment law matters, including compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Required Competencies:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active bar membership in good standing (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
0-3 years of legal experience (law firm, in-house, or relevant clerkship experience)
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proactive approach to identifying and resolving potential issues
Other Preferred Skills / Competencies:
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with themed entertainment, intellectual property licensing, or attraction industry contracts
General knowledge of international law and cross-border transactions
Familiarity with promoter, license, construction, development and fabrication agreements
Experience with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
