Retail Assistant Buyer

The Retail Assistant Buyer works directly with the Product Development team to determine, develop, and resource product assortments that support the Retail businesses.
Responsabilités:
Working with the company’s Retail Product Development team to determine resources for development for the company’s assigned retail shop.
Manage the integrity of the inventory management system to include; establishing UPC codes, ensuring proper ticketing resources, product packaging coordination, and direct inventory transfers for stock balancing when appropriate
Manages and maintains communications with IP owner for submissions of all products and product samples requiring review and approval
Able to troubleshoot the POS system and inventory management system
Manages open Purchase Order integrity as a conduit between supplier / IE Financial system and the Product team
Managing Open-to-Buy budget as directed
Manage weekly Stock/Resales reporting and best-selling item updates
Forecasts re-orders based on sell-thru and lead times. Places re-orders as required
Purchase Order creation including SKU & Barcode. Maintain PO tracker system
Develop and maintain product ticketing process for pricing objectives and inventory management
May include overnight travel to exhibition retail sites and industry trade shows/meetings
Compétences requises :
Some retail buying experience preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Creative writing and naming abilities
Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Business Central a plus
Experience in merchandise planning/inventory a plus

Travel domestically and/or internationally based on business need to support our global exhibitions and product resourcing efforts.
Primarily an onsite position.
